Marshals Task Force Arrests Fugitive Malinda Mumaw on Tips From the Public

Martinsburg, WV - On April 11, 2019 the U.S. Marshals Service Mountain State Fugitive Task Force requested the public’s assistance in locating fugitive Malinda Mumaw, 31, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, who was wanted by the Berkeley County Probation Department. Mumaw had been convicted of distribution of cocaine and heroin and violated her court ordered probation.

After numerous tips from the public were received, U.S. Marshals and Martinsburg City Police officers were able to locate and arrest Mumaw on the 200 block of E. Burke Street in Martinsburg West Virginia earlier today. “We would like to thank the public for their assistance" said US Marshal JC Raffety. “The public’s information was an invaluable tool to this investigation."
