Harrisburg, PA - Today, U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane announced the arrest of Que’sean Jalen Brown - a 24-year old York man.
On June 22, 2019, the York City Police Department investigated a shooting in the 500 block of Alladin Alley in which a person was shot through the shoulder and eye. Later, detectives identified the shooter as Brown and obtained an arrest warrant charging him with Criminal Attempt - Homicide; Aggravated Assault; Firearms not to be Carried without a License; and, Recklessly Endangering Another Person. The U. S. Marshals Service (USMS) was asked to apprehend Brown.
This morning at about 6:30 a.m., the fugitive investigation led task force members to a home in the 800 block of East King Street where Brown was taken into custody. A loaded handgun was recovered during the arrest. Brown was turned over to the York County Sheriff’s Office Central Booking Unit for arraignment.
United States Marshal Martin J. Pane stated, “The coordination and cooperation demonstrated by law enforcement in this case led directly to a dangerous fugitive being taken off the streets. It is our top priority to arrest violent crime fugitives, especially those who have no regard for human life."
The USMS Fugitive Task Force in the Middle District of Pennsylvania is comprised of 20 state, county and local police agencies, including: the Pennsylvania State Police; the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole; the York City Police Department; the York County Sheriff’s Department; and, the York County District Attorney’s Office - all of whom participated in this investigation.
