Today, Secretary of Commerce Gina M. Raimondo met with Singapore Minister of Finance Lawrence Wong to follow up on developments since Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s visit to the United States in March. During their meeting, Secretary Raimondo and Minister Wong shared views on the U.S.-Singapore bilateral commercial relationship, the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework, and the global business climate. Additionally, they discussed the U.S.-Singapore Partnership for Growth and Innovation, including the potential for commercial opportunities in the FinTech sector. The Secretary also reiterated her invitation to Singapore investors to attend the SelectUSA Investment Summit , June 26-29, 2022, at the National Harbor in Maryland and highlighted the benefits of their participation.
