Reclamation to address Lake Powell drought response actions during press event

The Bureau of Reclamation will host a press conference, tomorrow, May 3, to announce new actions being taken to boost water levels at Lake Powell and protect the Colorado River Basin system. Assistant Secretary for Water and Science Tanya Trujillo and Bureau of Reclamation leaders will outline the actions being taken to address the ongoing drought crisis facing the West and discuss the conditions impacting the Colorado River. The leaders will also highlight how the existing agreements like Drought Response Operation Agreement, the Drought Contingency Plans,  and the 2007 Interim Guidelines have helped shape the decisions.
