Mr. CRUZ submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill H.R. 4373, making appropriations for the Department of State, foreign operations, and related programs for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2022, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:
At the appropriate place in title II, insert the following:
Sec. 12__. None of the funds made available by this Act or any other Act may be obligated or expended to promulgate, implement, or enforce any rule, regulation, or other agency statement that voids, invalidates, or replaces the order issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention titled ``Public Health Reassessment and Order Suspending the Right To Introduce Certain Persons From Countries Where a Quarantinable Communicable Disease Exists'' (86 Fed. Reg. 42828; August 5, 2021).
