WASHINGTON - Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) today announced the committee will mark up three trade nominations during an executive session on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 10 a.m., in Dirksen Senate Office Building Room 215.
The committee will consider the following nominees:
* Mr. Jeffrey Gerrish, of Maryland, to be a Deputy United States Trade Representative (Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Industrial Competitiveness), with the rank of Ambassador, vice Robert W. Holleyman II;
* Mr. Gregory Doud, of Kansas, to be Chief Agricultural Negotiator, Office of the United States Trade Representative, with the rank of Ambassador, vice Darci L. Vetter; and
* Mr. Jason Kearns, of Colorado, to be a Member of the United States International Trade Commission for the term expiring Dec. 16, 2024, vice Dean A. Pinkert, resigned.

Following the consideration of these trade nominations, the committee will move to its hearing to consider the nomination of Kevin K. McAleenan to serve as Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
