SPRINGFIELD, MA-- House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard E. Neal (D-MA) released the following statement on international tax law:

“Harmonizing our international tax rules remains a critical priority, particularly as we continue to rebuild and grow the economy in 2021. I am glad that Secretary Yellen shares that view, and I have full confidence in her leadership on this issue. I look forward to the United States’ continued participation in the development of thoughtful proposals that protect U.S. workers and our tax base, and are fair to U.S. businesses."
