WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Top Republican on the House Ways and Means Committee Rep. Kevin Brady (R-TX) blasted President Biden’s budget that would sabotage America’s economic recovery and harm workers, families, and small businesses:
“With at least 7 million jobs on the chopping block, President Biden’s budget blunder is a roadmap to beat the Obama-Biden record as the slowest recovery in American history.
“This budget is the last thing Americans need: Greater government control of your health care with fewer life-saving cures, a return to losing jobs overseas, and tax hikes on working families and small blue-collar energy businesses. He even upends the modest royalty payments 12 million elderly Americans rely on to supplement their Social Security checks.
“The best thing you can say about this budget is that it will never happen."
