Access to Information from Silverstein Properties

The following press release was published by the National Institute of Standards and Technology on Oct. 1, 2002. It is reproduced in full below.

The information collected and documented by World Trade Center leaseholder Silverstein Properties on the events at the World Trade Center complex on Sept. 11, 2001, has been offered by the firm to NIST for use in the agency's building and fire safety investigation of the disaster. NIST has been working with Silverstein representatives to arrange for the review and transfer of these materials to NIST. NIST is hopeful that this information, along with additional information provided by others, will be beneficial to its WTC investigation.
