NIST Gaithersburg Campus to Reopen Wednesday August 24th

Update: NIST Gaithersburg will be open for business as usual on Wednesday August 24th. The campus was closed on Tuesday afternoon due to the earthquake that hit the local area. Engineers have reviewed all buildings and have found no structural damage.

The NIST Gaithersburg campus is closed due to the earthquake that hit the local area at about 2 p.m. today. NIST employees should check the status line - 301-975-8000 - before reporting to work in the morning.
