NIST Gaithersburg Will Open at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 2, 2015

On Monday, March 2, NIST Gaithersburg will have a delayed opening due to ice/snow. The site is closed for business until 11 a.m.

* Gates A (Main Gate) and F (Muddy Branch Road) will open at 10 a.m. Please stage your arrival between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. to avoid long lines at the gates.

* Gate C (Quince Orchard Road) will open at 11 a.m. to accommodate deliveries.

* Non-emergency employees/associates must notify their supervisor of their intent to use unscheduled leave/telework.

* All conferences and meetings will be held. If the start time is prior to the opening time of 11 a.m., wait until opening time to arrive at the meeting.

* MARC and Metro shuttles will start operating one hour prior to the opening time.

Please use caution while traveling to and around the site. Roadways and walking surfaces may still be slippery.
