Could you use a good news story every workday about the latest in agricultural science-in Spanish? The Agricultural Research Service can provide you with solid news items in Spanish every day about research results across the whole range of agriculture-related science, from human nutrition and animal health to invasive species and protecting the environment.
Since February 1999, ARS has offered a free Spanish-language daily news service, El Servicio Noticiero. Now ARS has launched a new web site to display its Spanish-language news stories. The Spanish web site, at/is/espanol, offers:
* An archive of more than 250 news stories in Spanish,
* A search engine to find specific stories within the archive,
* Links to Spanish-speaking ARS media contacts,
* Information about subscribing to the Spanish-language news service by e-mail, and
* Ciencia Para Niños, a web site of more than 40 stories and features in Spanish, geared to children age 8 to 13.
For additional details about the Spanish-language web site or news service, contact Marcos Ocadiz or Sandy Miller Hays.
