PAS Mumbai is seking aplications for promoting women's economic empowerment by helping Indian smal and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) develop and implement practices and policies that beter atract and retain female staf. This project aims to encourage and enable Indian companies to develop and implement practices and policies that beter atract and retain female staf. Through a series of training workshops, American and Indian experts wil highlight global best practices, and share their experiences and expertise with the management and human resource leaders of select Indian smal and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to help them beter formulate, rol out, and enforce gender-inclusive workplace policies. Project Objectives: Within 18 months, train management and HR leaders of at least 10 SMEs in the efective design and implementation of workplace policies and practices that wil improve gender equity in their organizations. A key component of the training wil be the sharing of best practices adopted by U.S. counterparts and networking betwen Indian and U.S. SMEs.
