Washington, DC - Congressman Howard L. Berman, the top Democrat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, issued the following statement on the August 5 terrorist attack at the Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.
“I was horrified to learn of the hostage situation and shooting at the Sikh Gurudwara located in Oak Creek, Wisconsin yesterday morning. The victims of the attack were merely gathering to worship this Sunday as many Americans do. I offer my heartfelt condolences to the victims and their loved ones.".
