This hearing will examine how we can transform this Super Bowl- and other major sporting event worldwide- from potential trafficking-fests to trafficking-free zones."

Chairman Poe on the hearing: “The Obama Administration made an overwhelming mistake when they signed the Joint Plan of Action (JPA) with Iran. Tehran has stated that the deal is a ‘surrender’ by the United States and that they ‘did not agree to dismantle anything’. All the while, the U.S. is allowing billions of dollars to flow back into Iran’s economy- money that will undoubtedly be used to further their nuclear program. This hearing will examine the flaws in the agreement and what Congress can do to stop the dangerous path we are now on."
