WASHINGTON-Representative Eliot L. Engel, Ranking Member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, today made the following statement regarding the terrorist attack in Jerusalem.
“I’m sickened by today’s bombing in Jerusalem that targeted Israeli citizens, and my heart goes out to the victims and their loved ones. It’s unconscionable that innocent men, women, and children should have to live under the shadow of terrorism. The United States must support our ally, Israel, as it defends itself against such appalling violence, and I stand with the Israeli people and their leaders as they investigate this attack and work to bring those who are responsible to justice.".
