Washington, D.C. - House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce (R-CA) issued the following statement congratulating Moon Jae-in on his election to the presidency of the Republic of Korea.
“The United States has no better partner and friend in the Asia Pacific than the Republic of Korea. I look forward to working with President-elect Moon’s government to maintain peace and stability on the Korean peninsula and in the region.
