Washington D.C. - House Foreign Affairs Committee Lead Republican Michael McCaul (R-TX) today released a statement following the terrorist attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Lead Republican McCaul: “The massacre in New Zealand that took the lives of 49 innocent people is shocking. This evil act is a grave reminder that terrorism is a global struggle that comes in many forms. Now is the time for the international community to stand together and denounce this hatred until it is completely eradicated. We cannot allow these tragedies to push us apart, and must stand united to condemn and defeat terror in all its forms.
