House Agriculture Committee Ranking Member Collin C. Peterson issued the following statement on the Senate’s passage of the farm bill this evening:
“Congratulations to Chairman Roberts, Ranking Member Stabenow and the members of the Senate Agriculture Committee on passing the Senate’s bipartisan farm bill. I look forward to sitting down with them in conference and working to make the needed adjustments to the legislation so that we can get a farm bill passed and signed into law that protects our farmers, ranchers and consumers."
