Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency publishes two press releases in May

There were two press releases published by the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency in May.

The most recent press release, "CISA Issues Emergency Directive Requiring Federal Agencies Mitigate Vulnerabilities in VMware Products," was submitted on May 18.

The Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency published six press releases the month before, marking a 66.7 percent decrease for the current month.

A 2018 federal law established the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency to help protect critical infrastructure from cyber and other threats — but it isn't fully up and running yet.

“The CISA Act passing Congress represents real progress in the national effort to improve our collective efforts in cybersecurity,” said NPPD Under Secretary Christopher Krebs.
