Today the FAA made available online the Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) training video. The video, now available online only, should be used by airports with a Part 139 certificate and their local ARFF departments. The DVD has three modules: Aircraft Forcible Entry, Fire Fighting with the High Reach Extendable Turret (HRET), and Cargo Aircraft Fire Fighting. The FAA issued the DVD originally to accompany Advisory Circular AC 150/5210-23, ARFF Vehicle HRET Operation, Training and Qualifications.
