Jerome Clinton Faison, 45, and David Thomas Jr., 49, both of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, were charged today by indictment with interstate transportation of stolen goods, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. The indictment charges that on Dec. 27, 2012, Faison and Thomas unlawfully transported in interstate commerce approximately $100,000 of stolen jewelry from Ogden, Utah to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
If convicted, each defendant faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, three years of supervised, and a $100 special assessment.
This case has been investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Philadelphia Police Department, and the Ogden Police Department. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Thomas M. Zaleski.
