John Ryan Hugs Sentenced In U.S. District Court

The United States Attorney's Office announced that during a federal court session in Billings, on Nov. 20, 2013, before U.S. District Judge Donald W. Molloy, JOHN RYAN HUGS, a 33-year-old resident of St. Xavier, was sentenced to a term of:

Probation: 4 years

Special Assessment: $10

HUGS was sentenced after a federal district court trial in which he was found guilty of assault by beating, striking, or wounding. Assistant U.S. Attorney Lori Harper Suek prosecuted the case for the United States.

The investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
