North Dakota Woman Sentenced For Conversion Of Tribal Funds

U.S. Attorney for the District of Wyoming Christopher A. Crofts announced that on Dec. 3, 2013, former Executive Director of the Eastern Shoshone Housing Authority, Joanne Lynn Seesequasis, a 45 year old Eastern Shoshone Tribal member, was sentenced by Chief United States District Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal to three years of probation, and was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and $45,544.66 in restitution. Ms. Seesequasis previously pled guilty to the offense of Conversion of Tribal Funds. This case was investigated by the Housing and Urban Development Office of Inspector General.
