Jackson, Miss - Adrian Romero-Carrera, 27, originally of Oaxaca, Mexico, was sentenced on Feb. 25, 2014 by Senior U.S. District Judge David Bramlette III to 75 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release for rioting at the Adams County Correctional facility, announced U.S. Attorney Gregory K. Davis. Romero-Carrera was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $1,350,113.
This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Patrick Lemon.
