Honduran Native Charged With Illegal Reentry

Wilson Donaldo Cruz-Arias, 30, of Norristown, PA, was charged today by indictment with illegal reentry after deportation, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. The indictment alleges that on or about Aug. 12, 2014, Cruz-Arias, an alien, and native and citizen of Honduras, was found in the United States after having been deported from the United States on or about Oct. 14, 2008 and Aug. 26, 2010.

If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of ten years.

The case was investigated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Enforcement and Removal Operations (“ERO"), and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Andrew J. Schell.

An Indictment is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
