Tampa, FL - U.S. District Judge James S. Moody, Jr. today sentenced Lamar “Budda" Wilson (33) to 10 years in federal prison for possessing with the intent to distribute 28 grams or more of cocaine base, commonly known as “crack." He pleaded guilty on Nov. 14, 2014.
According to court documents, Wilson arranged to sell an ounce of crack cocaine to a DEA confidential informant (CI). On Sept. 23, 2013, Wilson met the CI at a location in Hillsborough County, where he was paid $1,050 for an ounce of crack cocaine.
This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration. It was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Shauna S. Hale.
