Sentencing followed a guilty plea in May 2014 to charges relating to the production and distribution of methamphetamine. Specifically, Keller was sentenced for Conspiracy to Manufacture and Distribute Methamphetamine from October 2013 through May 2014 in St. Clair, Clinton, and Marion Counties (Count 1); Manufacture of Methamphetamine from Feb. 21, 2014, through Feb. 26, 2014, in St. Clair County (Count 2); and Possession of a Listed Chemical (Pseudoephedrine) Knowing It Would Be Used to Manufacture Methamphetamine on March 6, 2014, in Clinton County (Count 5). Four co-defendants have pleaded guilty to charges arising out of the same indictment. Two have previously been sentenced and two are awaiting sentencing.

Information leading to the charges against Keller was obtained in an investigation conducted by the FBI, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, and the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department, assisted by the Illinois State Police Methamphetamine Response Team. The case is being handled by Assistant United States Attorney Kit Morrissey.
