An East St. Louis man, convicted of Distribution of Cocaine, was sentenced to 57 months in federal prison on Nov. 20, 2015, the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, Stephen R. Wigginton, announced today. David Lee Taylor, Jr, 35, of East St. Louis, IL, received a 57 month sentence for distributing cocaine in St. Clair County, Illinois. Taylor had previously pled guilty to the offense on Aug. 13, 2015. Following release from imprisonment, Taylor will serve a 3 year term of supervised release. Taylor was also ordered to pay a $1000 fine and a $100 special assessment.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives was the investigative agency in this case. This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Donald S. Boyce.
