Assistant U.S. Attorney Frank T. Pimentel, who handled the case, stated that on Feb. 22, 2014, the defendant attempted to enter the United States at the Rainbow Bridge Port of Entry. After being referred for secondary inspection, Foss was found in possession of four ounces of methylone that she was intending to deliver a person on Niagara Falls Boulevard in Amherst.
The sentencing is the culmination of an investigation on the part of Special Agents of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations, under the direction of Special Agent in Charge James C. Spero, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers, under the direction of Rose Hilmey, Acting Director of Field Operations.
