Arcade Man Sentenced On Drug Charge

BUFFALO, N.Y.-U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr. announced today that Ryan Tojdowski, 32, of Arcade, NY, who was convicted of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, was sentenced to 46 months imprisonment by U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Caleb J. Petzoldt, who handled the case, stated that on Dec. 17, 2014, during the course of an investigation, the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department discovered the defendant to be in engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of marijuana. In addition, deputies found Tojdowski to be in possession of quantities of oxycodone, morphine, alprazolam, hydrocodone, clonazepam, dihydrocodeine as well as a.223 assault rifle.

The sentencing is the culmination of an investigation on the part of the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department, under the direction of Gregory J. Rudolph and the Drug Enforcement Administration, under the direction of Special Agent in Charge James J. Hunt, New York Field Office.
