U.S. Attorney for the District of Wyoming Christopher A. Crofts announced today that on June 23, 2016, Brad Calvin Titchener, 48, was convicted following a two-day jury trial in United States District Court in Cheyenne, Wyoming, of being felon and unlawful user of a controlled substance in possession of firearms and possession of equipment used to manufacture controlled substances. The investigation conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATFE), the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) resulted in the discovery of the firearms and equipment used to manufacture methamphetamine at Titchener’s residence on Nov. 15, 2015, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Sentencing has been set for Aug. 30, 2016, at 9:30 a.m. before United States District Judge Alan B. Johnson in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Titchener faces up to 14 years in prison.
