WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA - Harold L. Midcap, III, 40, of Follansbee, West Virginia, was sentenced to 37 months in prison for manufacturing methamphetamine, United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced.
Midcap manufactured methamphetamine in early to mid-2015 in Brooke County, WV. He pled guilty in February 2016 to one count of “Methamphetamine Conspiracy."
Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephen L. Vogrin prosecuted the case on behalf of the government. The Drug Enforcement Administration, the West Virginia State Police, the Hancock Brooke Weirton Drug Task Force, the Brooke County Sheriff’s Office, and the Follansbee Police Department investigated.
U.S. District Judge John Preston Bailey presided.
