Wyoming Man Sentenced for Being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm

Robert Wayne Vawdrey, 53, of Robertson, Wyoming, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl on Aug. 22, 2016, for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Vawdrey was arrested in Evanston, Wyoming. He received 15 months imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay a $200.00 fine and a $100.00 special assessment. This case was investigated by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
