United States Attorney, Deborah R. Gilg, announced that on Sept. 21, 2016, Creston Lee Christlieb, 30, of Beatrice, was sentenced to 10 years and one month (121 months) in prison for his involvement in a conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of a substance containing methamphetamine between January of 2013 and September of 2015. Information obtained by law enforcement indicated that Christlieb was responsible for the distribution of at least 5 kilograms (11 pounds) of methamphetamine in the Lincoln and Beatrice areas.
Following the prison term, Christlieb will serve five years on supervised release.
This case was investigated by the Lincoln/Lancaster County Drug Task Force.
