Philadelphia Man Charged With Assaulting A Postal Service Employee

Kenneth Stalling, age 34, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was charged today by indictment[1] with one count of assaulting a federal employee, that is a United States Postal Service employee while he was engaged in his official duties, on or about Oct. 19, 2016, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger.

If convicted of all counts, Stalling faces a maximum sentence of 20 years’ imprisonment, a $250,000 fine, three years’ supervised release, and a $100 special assessment.

This case has been investigated by the United States Postal Inspection Service, and the Philadelphia Police Department. The case has been assigned to Assistant United States Attorney Thomas M. Zaleski.
