Mexican Man Sentenced After Pleading Guilty To Illegally Re-Entering The United States After Previous Deportation

CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE - United States Attorney Emily Gray Rice announced that Gerardo Solis-Rojas, of Mexico, was sentenced to ten months in federal prison after pleading guilty, on Nov. 21, 2016, to illegally re-entering the United States after having been previously deported.

Solis-Rojas was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement Deportation Officers on Aug. 31, 2016, after they developed information that Solis-Rojas was present in the United States after having been deported on three previous occasions.

Solis-Rojas now faces likely deportation.

The case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Assistant U.S. Attorney Alfred Rubega prosecuted this case.
