CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - A St. Marys, West Virginia man pled guilty today to a methamphetamine distribution charge, Acting United States Attorney Betsy Steinfeld Jividen announced.
Dale Wesley Jenkins, Jr., also known as Buddy, age 56, pled guilty to one count of “Distribution of Methamphetamine." Jenkins admitted to selling methamphetamine in November 2016 in Pleasants County, West Virginia.
Jenkins faces up to 20 years incarceration and a fine of up to $1,000,000. Under the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, the actual sentence imposed will be based upon the seriousness of the offenses and the prior criminal history, if any, of the defendant.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephen D. Warner prosecuted the case on behalf of the government. The West Virginia State Police and the Pleasants County Sheriff’s Office investigated.
U.S. Magistrate Judge John Michael Aloi presided.
