BUFFALO, N.Y. - Acting U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr. announced today that Michael Early, 32, of Buffalo, NY, who was convicted of possession with intent to distribute cocaine, was sentenced to 72 months in prison by Senior U.S. District Judge William M. Skretny.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Joel L. Violanti, who handled the case, stated that on Sept. 27, 2013, the Drug Enforcement Agency and Buffalo Police Department executed search warrant at 66 Connelly Avenue in Buffalo. During the search, officers found crack cocaine and $6,495 in cash.
The sentencing is the result of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge James J. Hunt, New York Field Division; and the Buffalo Police Department, under the direction of Commissioner Daniel Derenda.
