Doylestown Man Charged With Illegal Reentry After Deportation

Eleasar Rodriguez-Torres, a/k/a “Rogelio Rodriguez-Martinez," of Doylestown, PA, was charged today by Indictment with illegal reentry after deportation, announced Acting United States Attorney Louis D. Lappen. The indictment alleges that on or about July 31, 2017, Rodriguez-Torres, an alien, and native and citizen of Mexico, was found in the United States after having been deported from the United States on or about Aug. 13, 2009, Feb. 25, 2012, April 23, 2012, Nov. 14, 2012, Feb. 27, 2013, April 1, 2013, and Jan. 27, 2014.

If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of two years.

The case was investigated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Enforcement and Removal Operations (“ERO"), and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Seth M. Schlessinger.

An Indictment, Information or Criminal Complaint is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
