New Garden Township, PA Man Charged With Illegal Re-entry After Deportation

Miguel Angel Vasquez-Camacho, of New Garden Township, PA, was charged today by Indictment with illegal reentry after deportation, announced United States Attorney Louis D. Lappen. The indictment alleges that on or about Nov. 29, 2013, Vazquez-Camacho, an alien, and native and citizen of Mexico, was found in the United States after having been deported from the United States on or about January 5, 1999.

If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of two years.

The case was investigated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Enforcement and Removal Operations (“ERO"), and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Bea Witzleben.

An Indictment, Information or Criminal Complaint is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
