Acting United States Attorney Dennis R. Holmes announced that an Allen, South Dakota, man was acquitted of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury as a result of a federal jury trial in Rapid City, South Dakota. The verdict was returned on Jan. 3, 2018.
Dennis Lucci, age 58, was initially indicted by a federal grand jury on July 18, 2017.
The investigation was conducted by the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the U.S. Attorney’s Office prosecuted the case.
