Philadelphia Man Charged With Illegal Re-entry After Deportation

Marco Antonio D’Argnt Reategui, a/k/a “Francisco D'Argent," a/k/a “Jorge Ortiz," of Philadelphia, PA, was charged today by Indictment with illegal reentry after deportation, announced United States Attorney Louis D. Lappen. The indictment alleges that on or about Dec. 13, 2017, D’Argnt Reategui, an alien, and native and citizen of Peru, was found in the United States after having been deported from the United States on or about September 4, 2012.

If convicted, the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of ten years imprisonment.

The case was investigated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Enforcement and Removal Operations (“ERO"), and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Timothy M. Stengel.

An Indictment, Information or Criminal Complaint is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
