CLARKSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA - Khourtney Alexandra King, of Canton, Ohio, has admitted to using another person’s passport, United States Attorney Bill Powell announced.
King, age 29, pled guilty to one count of “Misuse of a Passport." King admitted to giving another person’s passport to her employer as proof of identity and citizenship in November 2017 in Ohio County.
King faces up to 10 years incarceration and a fine of up to $250,000. Under the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, the actual sentence imposed will be based upon the seriousness of the offenses and the prior criminal history, if any, of the defendant.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Shawn M. Adkins is prosecuting the case on behalf of the government. The U.S. Department of State's Diplomatic Security Service investigated.
