Buffalo Man Going To Prison For Selling Crack Cocaine

BUFFALO, N.Y. - U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr. announced today that Julian Brown, 47, of Buffalo, NY, who was convicted of distribution of crack cocaine, was sentenced to serve 30 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Charles J. Volkert, Jr., who handled the case, stated that on Feb. 16, 2018, the defendant supplied his co-defendant, Andre Honeycutt, with a quantity of crack cocaine. Honeycutt in turn sold the drugs to an individual working with the Drug Enforcement Administration. Brown also supplied crack cocaine on two other occasions during the investigation.

Andre Honeycutt was previously convicted and sentenced.

The sentencing is the result of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge Ray Donovan, New York Field Division. #
