PORTLAND, Ore.-U.S. Attorney Billy J. Williams announced today that three Portland, Oregon residents have been charged with crimes during civil disorder events.
A federal grand jury in Portland, Oregon has returned a one-count indictment charging John Phillip Wenzel, with Civil Disorder on Aug. 14, 2020.
Halston Eugene Hamilton and Michael Lee Pilgrim have been charged with Violation of National Defense Airspace, a misdemeanor, for flying a drone within federal airspace on Sept. 26, 2020.
Each of these charges is only an accusation of a crime, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
