Sentences

Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal sentenced BRYSON JOSEPH BROWN, 30, on Jan. 12, 2021 for attempted escape from custody and assaulting and resisting persons assisting federal law enforcement officers. Brown was arrested at the Casper re-entry center. He received thirty months of imprisonment, to be followed by thirty-six months of supervised release, and ordered to pay a $300.00 special assessment. The U.S. Marshals Service investigated this case.

Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson sentenced LUCINDA MARIE HARRIS, 30, of Casper, Wyoming on Jan. 12, 2021 for two counts of bank larceny. Harris was arrested in Casper, Wyoming. She received six months of imprisonment, to be followed by thirty-six months of supervised release, and ordered to pay a $200.00 fine, restitution in the amount of $67,050.00. The Federal Bureau of Investigation investigated this case.

Federal District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson sentenced KOLTEN JOHN LACKEY, 23, of Cheyenne, Wyoming on Jan. 12, 2021 for possession of National Firearms Act firearms not registered in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer record, and unlawful user of a controlled substance in possession of firearms and ammunition. Lackey appeared via WRIT. He received fifty-one months of imprisonment, to be followed by thirty-six months of supervised release, and ordered to pay a $200.00 special assessment. The Cheyenne Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives investigated this case.
