HARRISBURG - The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that on Feb. 28, 2022, Jose Angel Robles-Alvarez, age 38, was sentenced to time served of 33 days’ imprisonment and one year of supervised release, by United States District Court Judge Christopher C. Conner for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien.

After illegally reentering the United States after that time, he was located on Sept. 3, 2020, in Adams County, Pennsylvania, after an arrest which resulted in a DUI conviction. It is expected he will be removed to Mexico at the completion of his sentence.

This matter was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) and was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Joanne M. Sanderson.
