WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Ranking Republican Rob Bishop (R-Utah) issued the following statement in reaction to President Trump’s executive order on promoting American seafood competitiveness and economic growth.
“During this time of economic uncertainty, the President’s action builds a foundation for future growth and is another step by this Administration to increase transparency and efficiency of the federal bureaucracy. Working with fishermen, not against them, will promote coastal economies and put fresh, sustainable, and affordable US caught seafood on the tables of Americans. I applaud this Administration’s continued crusade to cut bureaucratic red tape and promote US products abroad."
