The Democrat legislation would undermine American energy independence by implementing needless moratoriums on energy development, impose harmful red tape for ocean-based industries, and eliminate hundreds of thousands of good-paying jobs.

This agenda will result in dirtier fuels being consumed in both developed and developing countries, huge job losses for American families, higher energy bills domestically, and a vast increase in global emissions. Alternatively, House Republicans have developed and advocated for policies to diversify domestic energy and natural resource development both onshore and offshore.
